The 11th Annual Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk & Salisbury Art Stroll is returning to historic Pettengill Farm in Salisbury on October 10 & 11, bringing fairies, gnomes, art, music, and plenty of magic to the North Shore.
Held on the grounds of beautiful Pettengill Farm, circa 1792, this whimsical event invites families to wander through lush gardens, enchanted woods, and the peaceful salt marsh while searching for hundreds of tiny fairy and gnome homes hidden along the way.
🧚 Discover Nearly 200 Fairy & Gnome Homes
The highlight of the weekend is the one-mile Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk through the woods and out toward the salt marsh.
Nearly 200 imaginative fairy and gnome homes will be tucked throughout the trail, each created by local families, children, professionals, schools, and businesses.
Kids can crouch down along the trail to search for tiny doors, miniature houses, and magical details hidden among the trees. And don't forget to keep an eye out for a special surprise about halfway through the walk!
It's the kind of experience where little ones just might start wondering whether fairies and gnomes really do live in the woods.
🎨 New England Artists Join the Fun
There's even more to explore beyond the fairy trail. The Salisbury Art Stroll brings artists from around New England to Pettengill Farm to showcase and sell their work.
Families can stroll the farm's expansive front lawn, browse the artists' booths, and enjoy the creative atmosphere. Admission to the Art Stroll portion is included with the event.
