Parents on the North Shore have a brand-new option for birthday parties and celebrations! Little Big Bash, a new children's event space in Rowley, is all about taking some of the work out of party planning while creating a celebration kids will remember.
Located at 64 Forest Ridge Drive, Unit 4 in Rowley, Little Big Bash was established in 2026 by a local family that loves planning and hosting children's parties. The owners describe community, inclusiveness, and celebrating life's "big and little moments" as central to their new business.
And for parents who have spent the night before a birthday party decorating, baking, organizing activities and wondering how they're going to entertain a room full of kids — this place might sound especially appealing!
🎂 A Party Place Where They Handle the Details
Little Big Bash specializes in all-inclusive themed birthday parties. Depending on the package selected, the team can handle the setup, decorations, activities, entertainment and cleanup — leaving parents with a lot less to worry about.
Party themes range from spa days and dance parties to superheroes, princesses, glow-in-the-dark celebrations, yoga and more.
One feature we especially love: any Little Big Bash party package can be made sensory-friendly.
✨ Choose Your Own Kind of Bash
Families have several ways to celebrate.
🎈 Build Your Own Bash

💅 Little Bash
Want someone else to take care of the decorating and activities?
The Little Bash package includes up to 12 party guests and 1½ hours of party time, with Little Big Bash handling setup and cleanup.
Kids can choose two activity stations, including options such as hair styling, nail painting, simple face painting or temporary tattoos. The package also includes themed decorations, treats and lemonade, dress-up accessories, music, karaoke, party lights and a dance floor.
Each child also gets to make a craft to take home, with choices such as friendship bracelets, sugar scrub, magnets, squishy balls or peace rocks.
And there's something for the grown-ups, too: an adult lounge area with a coffee bar.
🌟 Go BIG With a Big Bash
The Big Bash takes the experience another step further with two hours of party time, up to 15 party guests, dedicated party hosts and 60 minutes of themed entertainment.
The current entertainment lineup includes some seriously fun choices:
Spa Day: Robes, spa headbands, foot soaks, face masks, manicures and pedicures, plus kids create their own sugar scrub to take home.
Plushie Puppy Yoga: A certified children's yoga instructor leads a playful yoga session, with mats provided. Kids also paint peace rocks and take home their own plush puppy.
Pajama Movie Night: Come in PJs, grab a beanbag and blanket and watch the birthday child's movie choice on the big screen. Popcorn is included, and guests decorate sleep masks to take home.
Glow in the Dark: Black lights transform the party space, complete with glow accessories, dancing and a DIY glow T-shirt for each guest.
Diva Dance Party: Dress up, walk the red carpet and hit the dance floor! A dance instructor teaches a choreographed routine, and guests create bedazzled microphones to bring home.
👑 Characters, Swifties, K-Pop & More
Families looking for an even bigger surprise can choose one of Little Big Bash's premium entertainment options.
Character parties can feature visits from favorite princesses, superheroes or storybook characters, with activities that may include games, singing, dancing, storytelling, face painting and photo opportunities.
There's also a Swifties party featuring a Taylor Swift performer, singing, dancing, friendship bracelets and microphone bedazzling.
K-Pop fans can choose a K-Pop Demon Hunters bash featuring singing, dancing, themed accessories, a Rumi performer and DIY bedazzled microphones.
Toy Story fans can celebrate with themed decorations, crafts and treats — and even a visit from Woody or Jessie.
🪄 Magic & LEGO Parties
Little Big Bash also offers some extra-special entertainment options.
A Magic Show brings in a professional magician for an interactive performance, with kids taking home magic-themed goodies and maybe even a new trick or two.
The weekend-only LEGO Bash is led by a certified LEGO "Snapologist" and features hands-on building activities with themes such as Minecraft, Roblox and LEGO City.
❤️ A New Local Space for Celebrating Kids
What stands out about Little Big Bash is the flexibility. Families who love DIY parties can rent the space and create their own celebration, while parents who would rather have someone else take care of nearly everything can choose a hosted package.
We also love seeing another locally owned family business opening its doors on the North Shore — especially one focused on creating a welcoming place where kids can celebrate, play and make memories with their friends.
So, if there's a birthday coming up in your family, you now have another local option to add to your party-planning list!
